How sad to see the city of Havana with so much history falling apart by the neglect of the cuban government. Your observations only confirm to many that when private owners are allowed to practice capitalism they will take care of their properties. It seems like in Cuba the whole equalty concept for all
really did not work very well. They are all living like peasents. Havana in the 1950's had a very large middle class that fled after the revolution. It was not a city of extremely rich or poor like many historians like to believe it was.
