The World in My Latte

I enjoyed this article a lot.. it's an exiting, well written piece. The interviews were interesting and informative. They provided an excellent window into the world of the Starbucks life.

Also, I can tell that the author feels a strong connection with her former place of employment. When she writes "There are no discounts in the civilian world." one gets the feeling of discontent and of non belonging. I can identify with this emotion. I have felt it after moving to different towns and after quitting
jobs. Even if I hated the job I was doing, I still missed the little things that I enjoyed doing there and the people that I worked with.

I think the author of this piece is exceptionally talented...
