I enjoyed the "Hypnogogic Verses"... Death seemed to either be lurking in the distance, implied, or present in the images themselves. Some of the images were more subtle than others, like the dead tree behind the roadway. I especially appreciated the effect of the live pigs in black and white. It was almost a foreshadowing...

... there were some really incredible "stanzas" in this work. Some really beautiful images. And some scary ones.

... an interesting outlook on life and death. I agree that humans and animals both share a beginning and an end to their life, but they experience it in a completely different way. A human or animal may live a peaceful life and have a comforting death, or... have a miserable existence and suffer a gruesome death. This shows how humans are not always more priveleged in life than animals are, and that death does not give benefits to any specific human or animal.
